
Isabella le Roux is a Clinical Psychologist with a BSc(Psych) Honours from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland. She is endorsed by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a registered Medicare and Private Health Care service provider.
Isabella’s clinical experience spans pubic health sectors in Western Australia and Queensland including the Queensland Children’s Hospital Child Research Centre, Queensland Health Acute Medical Inpatient Services, Renal Dialysis Division and Adult Rehabilitation Unit, WA Health- Community Mental Health Services and at Perth Children’s Hospital.
Isabella offers a holistic, trauma informed approach to psychotherapy incorporating interventions from a range of psychological treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Isabella has experience working with individuals with diverse psychosocial, medical, and psychological complexities. She works with adults, adolescents and children with a wide range of presentations including, but not limited to, anxiety, OCD, panic disorders, phobias, eating disorders, depression and adjustment difficulties. She has a particular interest in working with post-traumatic stress disorder and psychological distress related to medical trauma.
Isabella values creating a warm and safe therapeutic environment, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. She is currently working in private practice and at Perth Children’s Hospital and offers both in-person and Telehealth appointments.
